A human-driven hit-and-run vehicle first struck a pedestrian, throwing her into the path of a Cruise driverless taxi, which then ran over and dragged her approximately 20 feet; Jaws of Life were needed to free her and a tire rested on her leg. NHTSA later fined Cruise for failing to disclose the severity of the injury.
