IT WAS REPORTED THAT DURING A DA VINCI-ASSISTED SIGMOIDECTOMY SURGICAL PROCEDURE, THE SYNCHROSEAL INSTRUMENT WAS BROKEN AND A FRAGMENT FELL INSIDE THE PATIENT. THE FRAGMENT WAS RETRIEVED DURING THE SAME PROCEDURE. THE PROCEDURE WAS COMPLETED WITH NO REPORTED INJURY. ON JANUARY 20
